Affiliate marketing has become an absolute gold mine for people who know how to use the internet to target people with specific problems and provide them solutions — and earn a commission for that help.

Network marketing is simply affiliate marketing — on steroids, as the copywriters like to say. In other words, it takes a good thing and makes it even more amazing, because now you can get paid not only on people you personally invited to something that helps, but all the people that they share the information with too, if they choose to buy.

The problem with network marketing, or MLM as it’s sometimes called, is people’s perception of the whole industry because of some rather sordid history. Yes, I call it sordid when marketing is done with deception, hype, false promises, and pushiness. Not at all my cup of tea, and probably not yours.

But the business model makes so much sense, that I’ve persevered in this industry for over 15 years, with some great results and some equally great disappointments.

That’s why I was ecstatic to discover the community and training method known as The Renegade University, founded by Mike Klinger. Mike has taken the attraction marketing model first introduced by Ann Sieg in the ebook called The Renegade Network Marketer, and created an incredible learning environment for network marketing success, complete with step-by-step video tutorials for every step of learning possible.

I’m now in the qualifying process to become a Super Guide, or coach, within the Renegade University Professional level to help more network marketers build their business online with dignity, credibility, and much more success.

Please visit www.ExpectToConnect.com for that other aspect of my business and your free e-course to learn more about attracting hordes of pre-qualified leads to YOU as a professional, and most of the methods we teach won’t cost you a dime.

Just a handful of the ecstatic testimonials from

SendOutCards customers and distributors

In all my years of experience in referral marketing, I’ve never come across a system that has the ability to build a deep, close, and personal relationship with a small business prospect or customer as effectively, efficiently, and inexpensively as this system. It’s truly amazing.

My sales are up 224% in the 12 months that I’ve been using Send Out Cards.

David Frey
President, Marketing Best Practices
Austin, TX

Send Out Cards develops relationships that I just couldn’t develop any other way. It’s literally made me hundreds of thousands of dollars in referral business. It is simply the best tool I have ever used for generating referrals.
Dick Larkin
CEO, Weblistic Inc.
Fremont, CA

With a touch of a button I send out 60-80 personalized cards a month using Send Out Cards. One of our past clients stopped in to thank us for the greeting card, and in return he referred two of his friends who had damaged windshields. Send Out Cards really works!

Steven Scheeler
CEO, Desert Breeze Glass
Mesa, AZ

Our results, with over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, is that I believe Send Out Cards is the single best marketing tool for anyone looking to increase sales from their present customers, generate tons of referrals, and significantly increase their sales and profits.
Joel Weiner
Managing Partner – Best2U, LLC

What I discovered after using Send Out Cards is that I could create a way out of Corporate America and build a business on my time, spend much more time with my family and friends, and help others do the same.

If you own a business or are in sales, here are some sobering stats –

1. Most businesses lose 10-17% of their business every year.

2. 62% of your clients aren’t taking advantage of all of your products or services.

3. 91% of our customers say they would give us a referral if we had only asked.

4. 80% haven’t been encouraged to do so!

5. You lose 10% of your influence for every month that you don’t have contact with your client.

6. A 5% increase in customer loyalty could yield 20-80% to your bottom line.

7. Studies show that an average prospect won’t do business with you until they’ve seen or heard from you or your message at least 7 times.

8. 79% of all trade show leads aren’t followed up.

9. 66% of your business within the next year will come from your sphere of influence.

10. Only 3% of the mail we receive is personal.

And that’s worth thinking about!

What can you do? You need a system, because of the numbers of people coming into your world on an ongoing basis. You need a contact management system that can automate your keep-in-touch system so people feel remembered, cared for, and see that you’re taking a personal interest in maintaining your relationship.

Here are 7 top reasons to start your own greeting card business right from home!

1) It’s a product that people already use every day.

The greeting card industry is a $7 billion dollar industry and we’re the 3rd biggest player after Hallmark and American Greetings. Of course those companies don’t offer the convenience of sending your cards right from home and the computer. And they’re a LOT more expensive.

Showing people how to send PHYSICAL greeting cards right from their computer and in their own handwriting, for about a dollar, is simply a no brainer and has a high interest factor because people have never seen anything like this.

2) Greeting cards are a high demand product.

We have over 65,000 happy customers enjoying sending their cards this way — and our distributors are getting a nice percentage of every card sent. That could be you with your own home-based greeting card business.

3) Fun and making new friends

Starting a greeting card business is so much fun, and I think business should be fun. People absolutely love sending and receiving cards this way with personal photos, gift cards, even real gifts sent right with your card and right from home. It’s wonderful to get a call of surprise and appreciation after sending an unexpected card of thanks, gratitude, or encouragement.

I’ve been a distributor for other companies and nothing else has been nearly as fun as this!

4) Unbelievable low start-up costs and overhead.

For only $398 you have your own greeting card business started in minutes and join our award winning team to support you in your new business. Whether you want to make some money on the side, or work towards replacing your full-time income, we have the training and mentoring you’ll need to reach your goals.

No leases, no employees, little to no overhead expenses, work your own hours — now THIS is my kind of business.

5) 3 ways to make money

You make money when your customers and downline distributors send cards. You make money when you sponsor new distributors. And you make money when your distributors grow their business too! Actually, I left out some other ways you make money, but you see it’s multi-dimensional and very leveraged.

6) A consumable product that virtually everyone uses

Birthdays come every year (isn’t that the truth!), holidays come every year, weddings, new babies, graduations, thank you occasions, business occasions — people are buying cards for all of these. And they’re paying a whole lot more at the store than you can offer them with your own greeting card business.

Introducing this service to small business owners is particularly easy because they know that keeping in touch equals more referrals, sales, and new customers.

7) An easy to follow and effective business plan.

I’ve been a leader in this business and now mentor others to succeed with a very copyable business plan that anyone can do. It’s a business where the product itself is so cool and different that people want to know more! We have a complete training blog and tracking forms that let you keep track of your business growth simply and easily.

You’ve got to try sending a card this way — it’s unbelievably fun, easy, and contagious! Simply fill out the info on the form on this page for your free guest account.

This was a wonderful reminder from my friend, Jordan Adler, about the realities of network marketing. I believe there is no more powerful business model than getting paid on the work of thousands of other people. It works, it’s simple, but it’s not easy. Wrap your head around this truth and put it to work for your own success!

THE PRICE OF THE PROMISE:

The Power Of Network Marketing

Mark Yarnell, a minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and just about to lose his car and home. He looked for a way out and discovered network marketing. Luckily, he had a wise sponsor.

The sponsor gave Mark “THE PRICE OF PROMISE”. “This business can set you free financially in one to three years.”
But he also gave him “THE PRICE”. “To succeed, you will have to face and conquer 4 major enemies.”

Mark said, “It’s a deal.”

Mark began by inviting 200 friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said “No, not interested”

- Mark had encountered ENEMY #1: Rejection.

He thought, “No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I’ve got 120 people still coming over.” Guess what?

- He had just encountered ENEMY #2: Deception.

Mark thought, “No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I’ve got 70 people who watched the tape.” Guess what? 57 said “Not Interested”.

- He had just encountered ENEMY #3: Apathy.

Undaunted, Mark thought, “No problem. 13 people signed up.” Guess what? 12 of them dropped out of the business shortly thereafter.

- He had just encountered ENEMY #4: Attrition.

Attrition had left Mark with just one serious associate. But to this day, that single distributor earns Mark over $50,000 per month.

Mark Yarnell’s story is NOT Unique!

You may have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful distributors in Amway. Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on Amway. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers - several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn’t sell. During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, “Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What’s your secret?”

He replied, “There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said, ‘No’ and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious, and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire.”
Like Mark Yarnell, Bill worked through the numbers.

Jason Boreyko, former co-founder of New Vision, told this story. When he was a distributor in Matol, he signed up 50 people. He heard a lot of “No’s” on the way to those 50. Jason took one man, who he knew would be terrific in the business to lunch,
told him about the business and the man said “No.” Jason took the man to lunch again the next month and told him the updates. Once again the man said, “No.” Jason sent him some more information and took him to lunch again the next month. And again the man said, “No.” That went on for six months. The seventh month, something had changed for the man, and he said, “Yes.” That man made Jason over one million dollars. Jason also worked through his numbers.

According to Richard Poe in Wave Three while starting Amway, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, America’s eleventh richest people, recruited 500 people. 495 dropped out. The five that didn’t quit built Amway. All $7 billion of Amway’s business was built under those 5 people. Jay and Rich had to work through their numbers. There are many similar stories.

Jeff, the top money earner in Mannatech, signed up 27 people his first month. One might think that he is especially talented at sponsoring. Actually, Jeff will be the first to tell you that he is not talented at all.

In fact, he feels that he did very poorly. To recruit those 27, Jeff talked to 2000 people that first month. And of the 27, the only one who did anything significant with the business was Ray Gebauer, who has more than half of Mannatech in his downline.

Jeff’s word to you is that the numbers never lie. Pick your goal and then get into massive action. If you talk to enough people, you will make it!

Here’s the lesson: Your success is directly related to the degree to which you are willing to work to find others like yourself who are committed to succeed. Mark Yarnell’s odds were 1 out of 50. (Jeff’s were really 1 out of 2000.) Would you be willing to go through 200 people to find the 1 who will make you $50,000 a month? Or go through 200 people to become a millionaire? Or hear uncounted “No’s” to sign up 50 people to find a million dollar person? I hope you will. It’s easier when you know the odds up front.

But here’s the catch: You have your own set of odds and you won’t know what they are until AFTER YOU’VE SUCCEEDED.
So if you’ve gone through 50 or 100 people and you haven’t found 1 serious person yet, you can either give up and assume the business doesn’t work or recognize that you are working through your own numbers.

Are you willing to find out what your own set of odds is?

That means that you must pay the price for freedom. Remember that the numbers never fail you. Despite where you are in your skill level, your success is assured if you talk to enough people. And as your skill improves, so will your odds.

There is no such thing as luck in this industry. Winning big is a matter of being willing to pay the price. Are you? Your future is in your hands! The choices which you make today will determine the course of your entire future.

++++++++++++++

Jordan goes on to say that he’s shown our very fun business to about 850 people and signed up 170, about 1 in 5. That’s led to an organization of over 37,000 distributors doing over $1 million a month — the great majority of it coming from the downline organizations of just 4 people. Get that? The rest of the people are just using our system to send out cards. Those are how the numbers work in any company.

It’s so critical to understand this so you don’t get discouraged. Look at the stories of all these people who didn’t quit. The numbers don’t lie.

For the best in free video training to grow your network marketing business, visit Expect To Connect where you can learn about the power of the internet to attract your ideal prospects to you.

BONUS: Are you making these 5 mistakes of network marketing?

+++++++++

A Wonderful Resolution for the New Year!

What amazing gifts the new year brings!
An entire year’s worth of wonderful opportunities,
given to us one sunrise at a time.

Many of the moments ahead will be marvelously disguised as ordinary days, but each one of us has the chance to make something extraordinary out of them.

Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life.
The secret of success is in turning that diary
into the best story you possibly can.

Have pages on understanding and tales of overcoming hardships.
Fill your story with enthusiasm, adventure, learning, and laughter.
And make each chapter reflect time doing these things:

Follow your dreams. Work hard. Be kind. Do what you can to make the door open on a day that is filled with inspiration in some special way.

Remember: Goodness will be rewarded. Smiles will pay you back. Have fun. Find strength. Be truthful. Have faith.

Don’t focus on anything you lack. Realize that people are the treasures in life, and happiness is the real wealth.

Have a diary that describes how you’re doing your best, and…the rest will take care of itself.

With all the news of bail-outs recently, I had to laugh when I saw this press release from our company in talking about how our greeting card company offers late card senders a “bail out” to save time and money!

Greeting Card Company, SendOutCards.com, Poised to Bail Out More Than 41
Million Americans This Holiday Season

SendOutCards.com Offers Home-Based Solution To Holiday Procrastination: Long
Lines, Brutal Traffic, And Unforgiving Winter Weather Are Now Ghosts Of
Christmas Past

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ — With less than two weeks till
Christmas, the National Retail Federation (NRF) has informed America that it
is indeed a nation of procrastination. In a December 16th survey, the
non-profit (NRF) announced that only 8% of Americans had finished their
shopping, and a shocking 41 million have yet to even start.

The good news — those who waited till the last minute can now erase the hurry-worry with a
trip to SendOutCards.com.

With SendOutCards, shoppers won’t need to hunt down a parking space or
even start the car. Five years ago, this tech-savvy greeting card company set
out to make sending a card or gift as easy as sending an e-mail. Today, a
quick visit to the website allows users to do just that in as little as 60
seconds.

Once signed up and logged into SendOutCards.com, three things become
immediately apparent:

1) There are more card designs than one might ever use (13,000+)
2) An array of endless customization options
3) Sending a card and gift is quick and incredibly easy

Test Drive the First Sub 60-Second Greeting Card and Gift

A visit to the Greeting Card homepage reveals a well organized list of
card categories from ‘Holidays and Occasions’ to ‘Birthdays’.

With two clicks of the mouse, more than 500 Christmas and holiday Cards are immediately on
display. If 500 holiday Cards isn’t a large enough inventory, not to worry.
For a small fee, SendOutCards will even create a unique, original design upon
request.

After selecting the perfect card, SendOutCards then leads you through a
number of customizing tools, offering everything from the addition of personal
photos to the replication of your own handwriting and signature.

“We are constantly searching for new ways to make each card as personal as
possible,” says Kody Bateman, CEO and founder of SendOutCards. “Our new custom
handwriting fonts make each card specific to the individual sending it, which
adds a little extra touch that people appreciate.”

This unique handwriting and signature feature is incredibly accurate, and
created by simply filling out a paper form and sending it in. SendOutCard’s
team then uploads the submission to create your very own font.

More Than Just a Greeting Card — It’s a Gift

For those feeling extra generous this holiday season, SendOutCards even
offers the option to include a present with the card. Items available span
from baked goods to gift-cards, each packaged personally with ribbon and a bow
by a SendOutCard employee. Forget to send someone a gift before Christmas?
Don’t worry, SendOutCards offers the service year round.

SendOutCards continues to focus on the minute details of holiday giving,
ensuring every package leaving their office is as genuine as the person
sending it. So this holiday season go ahead, enjoy more time with friends and
family and less stress at the stores — delivered courtesy of
SendOutCards.com .

During the month of December we sent over 2,870,807 cards? Our largest day for December, which was our largest day ever, we sent over 271,852 cards! In 2008, we printed, stuffed, stamped, and put over 10,751,341 cards in the mail! That’s over 4.5 MILLION more than we sent in 2007!

In 2004 we printed just over 150,000 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR!

WHAT’S THE POTENTIAL?

I was taking a walk with a good friend of mine on New Years Day. He is the owner of another Network Marketing company. I watched him build a team of over 250,000 distributors in his last company.

We were playing with some numbers and figured out that there are just over 60,000 distributors that have signed up with our company since day 1. We know that 70% or more of them just signed up to use it and aren’t actually building a network marketing business.

We know that many of the 60,000 have done zero gift accounts and others have done as many as 2-300. Let’s assume that all 60,000 have each done on average 10 Gift Account Walk-Throughs. This means that approximately 600,000 people have sent a card on our greeting card system.

In other words, of the 300 MILLION people in the US, less than 700,000 people have sent a card! We have a lot of work to do! And you can see that the opportunity is stronger than ever for someone just getting started!

It’s rare and exciting to be part of a company with a unique, fun product that is priced lower than the market price and has a track record and history of success. Innovation and a popular product that people use every day with a unique and fun delivery method are two elements of an opportunity that is recession-proof!

Want to see what all the talk’s about? Contact me for your free card account and send someone some love or appreciation today.

Many of my clients are doing something that I think is pretty cool, and that is sending cards at Thanksgiving rather than Christmas. Here’s why:

1. It’s a natural opportunity to say “Thanks for business this year. We really appreciate you and we wish you a wonderful holday season.”

2. Not everybody celebrates Christmas, but everybody would respond warmly to a card of appreciation.

3. And of course by sending your cards at Thanksgiving, you get onto your clients and customers radars before the onslaught of cards in December!

What’s more, our company also has a whole cornucopia of gifts that you can send along with your card, such as gourmet goodies like brownies, coffee and biscotti, whiskey pralines, and books, gifts for pets, babies, the home — and a wide selection of gift cards from vendors like Bed Bath & Beyond, Borders Books, Home Depot, Starbucks, Old Navy, American Express gift card, and several others.

Your gift-giving this season just got a LOT easier - and you don’t even have to go to the store! At this time of year, that’s something to give thanks for!

Having a profitable part-time home-based business is the answer to financial stress in these crazy economic times. It’s made a difference for us in being able to have our sons in private school, build solid college savings accounts, and even buy a second home in our favorite place in the world, for rental income now and for us to enjoy in retirement!

Now is not the time to have all your eggs in one basket, no matter how solid and secure you think your job is. We’ve watched people get laid off from some of the biggest employers around, and all without warning.

The internet makes things possible for income from home that weren’t possible just a few years ago. I encourage you to give this some research and consideration.

Here are some heartfelt comments from my friend and colleague in this wonderful card business that I love and promote. It’s a business with heart, making a real difference in this world, and is so easy and inexpensive to get started.

Contact me today with any questions. I’m a real person, a wife and mom, and a successful home-based business owner for many years. Call and let’s talk. 916-780-0648 9 am - 8 pm Pacific time

++++++++++++++++++++

People are tired. They work so hard to make ends meet. There are more people today concerned about their investment portfolios and property values than ever before.

Under conditions like this there are record numbers of people looking for an opportunity. Not only that, the number one human craving is the need to love and be loved. We can help with that too. It feels really good to send cards and it feels even better to receive them. If you have been receiving them you know exactly what I mean.

Each card I receive and open is like a gift. There is no better time to build this business. We are on the verge of an explosion for many reasons. We have the most unique product in the Network Marketing profession today. Everyone loves it.

We are attracting record numbers of people that have never done network marketing before (which by the way represents the larger percentage of the population).

For the first time, we are really attracting the bunch that would have never done it in the past. Because of the state of the economy, people are fed up and are wanting to take control of their financial future. There has never been a better time. Our company is capturing a growing piece of the $7 billion greeting card market and has a proven track record.

Here’s what I look for:

1. A unique product
2. A simple system of doing business
3. A proven leadership team and marketing plan
4. A better way of doing things
5. A low cost of entry (low start up and autoship)
6. A compelling crusade
